Description: Hosted by Jack Champion, who hand picks the finest Country/Americana performers the Bay Area has to offer as special guests.

The Hillbilly Hootenanny is a show in the tradition of the Grand Old Opry, made up of one if not THE hottest Honky Tonk Bands in Northern California.

Maurice Tani - guitar/ vocals
Mitch Polzack - guitar/ banjo
Paul Olgin - bass
Les James - drums
David Phillips - pedal steel
Featured guest performer - Margaret Belton

Margaret has been performing in her own band for years "The "Patsy Chords" and if the Patsy Cline Tribute Band was not enough she has recently been cast in the lead role of a stage show "Always... Patsy Cline,"

• Super-Californographic singer-songwriter Maurice Tani and his band, 77 El Deora have been the source of untold, but exquisite suffering in the Bay Area for over 10 years and is an Armando’s favorite.

• Charismatic Royal Deuces commander Mitch Polzak isn’t just one of the hardest working musicians around -in his spare time, he’s the Mayor of neighboring Port Costa and a member of The Alhambra Valley Band.

* Paul Olgin has played with many of the stellar bands in the Bay Area and beyond from Blues to Rock to Country.

• Drummer Les James is the font of percolation behind the long-running and ever-popular Country/honky-tonk outfit, Red Meat

• Master pedal steel master David Phillips has played with a very long list of artists! He has a discography that could be a Sirius Radio channel of it’s own.
