Known to many as 'half of Duo Gadjo', and renowned for his searing slide guitar work and clever song writing, Jeff Magidson has shared the bill for a wide range of artists over the years: from Bob Brozman to B.B King, Joe louis Walker, to Arlo Guthrie, and Stephan Grapelli.

A San Francisco-based pianist, composer, arranger and producer, Lee Bloom has worked with a variety of creative artists in many genres including Pete Escovedo, Hal Stein, Dan Hicks, among others. As pianist, Lee recently contributed to the forthcoming tribute recording to bluegrass icon Hazel Dickens, accompanying vocalists Elvis Costello, Rosanne Cash, and Madeleine Peyroux.

Mike Waters adds a touch of jazz and bebop into the mix, having honed his skills with tenor great Hal Stein. Known for his warm & melodic sound, Mike has performed with such Bay Area favorites as MJ’s Brass Boppers, Kickin’ The Mule, Bruno Pelletier Quartet, Stocchi Jazz Band, Jonathan Poretz, Jellyroll and Bob Dalpe.

Fresno, California native, Sam Rocha, showed an interest in music from a very early age. Beginning with piano lessons at age 4, his formal musical studies soon expanded to include the viola and bass guitar. At age 15, he fell in love with the acoustic string bass and has since identified himself as a bassist, playing his first professional gigs at 17 with Fresno’s Blue Street Jazz Band, among others. While largely self-taught on the string bass, Sam has closely studied such masters of the instrument as “Pops” Foster, Al Morgan, Milt Hinton, Bob Haggart, Jimmy Blanton, Ray Brown, Walter Page, and Scott LaFaro.

Nicholas Sager is a San Francisco based music therapist, drummer, and composer. He is passionate about the power of music and creativity to promote healing and quality of life. Before his studies in music therapy, he spent almost ten years in the New York City’s jazz/creative music scene. He has toured, lectured and performed internationally, and played with notable jazz musicians, such as New Orleans’ Leon “Kid Chocolate” Brown, Nicolas Letman-Burtinovic, Gerald Hayes and Jazz Machine's Marvin Horne. Nicholas currently performs around the Bay Area with bands, including Nwanml, an avant-garage project, and with Rob Bayne, a singer/songwriter.
